Health insurance: What can you do without?
Everything it seems is a compromise.
Do you take a job, any job just to get employer based health insurance? What if that job doesn't cover the bills? Do you still take it?
Do you pay for health insurance out of your own pocket and if so - what do you do without to pay for it?
Can your cash flow cope with the unwanted - yet happening rate hikes started by companies such as WellPoint?
How do we cope with the "greed" of the insurance companies who rescind health insurance policies, revoke health insurance policies and lower benefits to those who still have health insurance?
When was the last time you had a look at your health insurance costs vs benefits received? We used to say it was a good idea to do so every 12 months, but now - we're not so sure that is the best time frame, given the huge number of changes happening in the health insurance industry in Georgia.
Never assume your current health insurance policy is still going to be the best choice, always question, always ask - is this the best value / best cover health insurance policy there is?
