Many people haven’t heard of Coventry health insurance company in Georgia. Actually, Coventry Healthcare has been in GA for many years, but started to market their individual health plans in GA just a couple years ago.

At this time (May 2009), Coventry Healthcare is pretty hard to beat for their rates and the benefits that accompany their individual health plans. I just hope they are able to keep the rates low for some time!

Their open access POS plans have a great network for doctors and hospitals.

Coventry Healthcare has several different plans you can choose from. The plans that are the most competitive with Coventry Healthcare currently are the new $35 co-pay plans:

Coventry Healthcare' s $35 co-pay plans offer unlimited general office visits and 2 specialty visits per year with a $50 co-pay. After that, it is subject to your deductibles.
Other benefits with Coventry Healthcare include $10 generic Rx co-pay without a deductible as well as vision benefits and a dental plan from Delta Dental at no additional cost.

Coventry has choice of $1000, $2500 and $5000 deductible options. At the time of writing, the $2500 plan seems to be the most optimally priced.
