Peach Care for kids: New 2012 Health Insurance Options for Children

Not everyone can afford health care insurance in Georgia. Included in this growing list of people are the self employed, low income earners, and the unemployed. There are also some employers themselves who cannot afford to pay health insurance for their employees.

Of those perhaps most at risk with this lack of health insurance in Georgia are the children and dependents.

An announcement made by the Georgia Department of Community Health, if your child is covered under the State Health Benefit Plan (SHBP) means you may be eligible to enrol your child / children in the Peach Care for Kids Insurance Program. A welcome relief for the at risk and vulnerable.

Do you qualify?
