Stop childhood obesity campaign

A company called Strong4Life has created a series of commercials showing overweight children describe how other kids pick on them because of their weight. While other ads show how being overweight has caused health issues. With tag lines such as "being fat takes the fun out of being a kid," or "some diseases aren't just for adults anymore" they are designed to be confronting. Hopefully the message will help overweight kids lose the stigma AND the pounds.

Childhood Obesity Ads

The ads are part of a $50 million campaign in Georgia  where nearly one million kids are obese and 75 percent of parents of an obese child don't recognize it as a problem, Strong4Life says. It's the second worse obesity rate in the country behind Mississippi.
