Pregnant without insurance in GA?

If you are currently pregnant without health insurance in GA, you might be in luck.  The pre-exsiting insurance coverage in Georgia might cover your pre-existing pregnancy.  The pre-existing insurance coverage is a federal plan and you can get more details on the plan in your state at Healthcare.gov

There are 3 basic requirements for the pre-existing insurance plans.

1.        You must be a legal resident of the U. S.

2.        You must not have had health insurance in the last 6 months.

3.        You must have been turned down or are not able to obtain health insurance due to a pre-existing coverage.

The benefits under the pre-existing insurance coverage in GA are very good.  Very similar to the major medical benefits you might obtain through an employer or on your own.  The rates are a bit high, but for people who have not had any options in the past, it is a great option for consideration.
