Health insurance Savannah: the Obama plan

The fiery debate on health insurance coverage swept into Savannah as representatives of the Obama government held a Savannah Town Hall meeting hosted by GA Democratic State representatives. The health insurance debate has gotten ugly in recent times with passionate arguments on both sides. Savannah was no different, with a range of views on the future of health care in Savannah, GA and the nation at large.

The stated purpose of the Savannah meeting was to gauge reactions to the plan and "try to explain the health care plan so that nobody is afraid [of its implications] and everyone knows its importance".
