Kaiser Permanente funds new walking trail in East Cobb to promote healthy living

As we reported earlier, Kaiser Permanente is expanding into the East Cobb County. The Kaiser Permanente Medical Offices contains exam rooms, a laboratory, pharmacy and basic radiology services. In moving into the area, Kaiser Permanente presented a $10,000 grant to Sope Creek Elementary School to fund a walking fitness trail, which will promote exercise and well-being to the school’s students and teachers and to the entire East Cobb community.

ATLANTA — Kaiser Permanente announced today the grand opening of a new medical office in East Cobb to provide expert health care service.

Located in the Woodlawn Square Shopping Center at 1205 Johnson Ferry Road, the East Cobb Medical Office is the first of several medical offices that Kaiser Permanente plans to open through metro Atlanta in 2010.
